All participants will be given an access card at check-in that will allow entry into the residential and meeting buildings and will allow overnight guests free access to UCLA’s recreational facilities. Please take care not to lose or misplace your access card, as there is a charge if it is not returned upon check-out.
You will be dining in the residential restaurant assigned to our group, and meals are self-serve and all-you-care-to-eat. Residents will use your access cards to enter the residential restaurant for each meal. Commuters will have individual meal tickets for each meal.
Breakfast 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Dinner 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Special note about lunch on the last day: Since residents will have already checked out and returned your access cards to the front desk, you will be given a “last meal voucher” for lunch when you check out. Commuters will use their individual tickets.

Every effort is made to keep meeting room temperatures as comfortable as possible; however, we recommend layered clothing that can be removed or added. Comfortable walking shoes are also recommended for getting around the campus.
Vending and ice machines are located on the lobby level (either indoors or outside) of each residence hall.
All buildings at UCLA are nonsmoking. These include the housing facilities (inside and all areas within 20 feet of the buildings), De Neve Plaza, Hedrick Court, Rieber Court, and Sunset Village outdoor courtyard areas. Please check with the front desk for designated outdoor smoking areas.
The housekeeping staff will clean your room each day. This includes making your bed, cleaning your bathroom, vacuuming, providing fresh towels and toiletries, if needed, and emptying waste baskets.
Laundry equipment is located in each housing facility.
Check-out is 11:00 a.m. To avoid late check-out charges, please personally check out and turn in your room key and/or your access card at your front desk by 11:00 a.m. The front desk will provide short-term luggage storage arrangements until your departure.
Guests who would like to book additional nights at the conference center before or after the conference may do so directly with the conference center on a first-come, first-served basis on the day they arrive. The conference center will not book reservations in advance. The rates are $121 for singles and $139 for doubles. These rates include breakfast only.
