Carlos Salinas currently serves as a project coordinator at the UCLA Labor Center developing different projects that uplift and empower undocumented immigrant community. Carlos Salinas was born in Tlalnepantla, Mexico and migrated with his family to the United States at the age of eight. Carlos is the lead coordinator for the Undocumented Stories exhibit uplift the lived experiences of undocumented youth who built a movement to change policies impacting higher education, access to healthcare, and detention processes. Carlos has previously worked on projects looking at culturally relevant curricula and the racialization of undocumented populations.
