June McMahon Retirement Luncheon

After twenty-five years of service to the UCLA Labor Center, June McMahon has retired. On February 13, 2009, the Downtown Labor Center hosted a retirement luncheon attended by more than seventy friends and colleagues. June promised that she would continue to assist with teaching and labor education in her retirement. She thanked all of her coworkers at the Labor Center and all the people she has worked with in the labor community over the years.

June was praised as an extraordinary labor educator who has likely conducted more labor education programs and trainings than any other individual in the state of California. She has also been a mentor and inspiration to many other labor educators throughout the country.
