Dream Summer 2016: Deadline Extended!

We’ve received a lot of questions about this year’s Dream Summer Cohorts since the process is a little different. Given the influx of requests about both the healthy California and the new Labor cohort–good news! We are extending the 2016 application deadline to Friday, March 11 at 11:00 p.m. PST. You have one more week to apply for Dream Summer. Please share far and wide!

The Healthy California cohort addresses the connections between health and immigrant rights. Fellows will engage with selected health organizations to educate, advocate, and advance #Health4All in California. We particularly would like to encourage people to apply from the Central Valley, Sacramento, Orange County, San Diego, and Inland Empire!

We also have a brand new Labor cohort that will address the intersectionality between labor and immigrant issues. Among the areas where fellows will focus include corporate research, policy analysis, coalition building, curriculum development, strategic planning, and communications.

Since its founding as the first nationwide internship program by and for immigrant youth, Dream Summer has provided more than 500 fellowship opportunities to immigrant youth and allies throughout the nation. Learn more about Dream Summer.
