About the film:

The story explores the changing way of life and environment in Indigenous communities in Oaxaca, Mexico due to migration and globalization.

Throughout the world we are at present witnessing how the countryside is abandoned and transformed in favor of urban cities.

This, often painful, migration from rural villages to urban centers affects many Indigenous generations and has great lasting impact, such as the fragmentation of families and the loss of language and tradition.

The film propels the question: What happens to identity, cultural memory and cultural continuity when the youth is forced to migrate?
