Jenny Kim

Jenny Kim (she/her) is a Volunteer for the Dream Resource Center (DRC). She is originally from South Korea and graduated in 2020 from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in Criminology, Law and Society, and a minor in International Studies. She envisions and hopes to go to law school to acquire the education/experiences necessary to fight for what is just and to obtain the power to protect her dreams as well as the dreams of 11 million undocumented immigrants.

Currently, at the DRC, Jenny focuses on uplifting the work of undocumented student organizers to mobilize and promote the Opportunity4All Campaign throughout the University of California. Jenny also volunteers as a teaching assistant to lead a UC-statewide course. She is helping to develop educational curriculums about the Immigrant Youth Movement and expanding the organizing effort of the fourth immigrant youth publication with the UCLA Labor Center.

In addition to her volunteer role at UCLA DRC, Jenny works closely with the National Korean American Services and Education Consortium (NAKASEC) as an Immigrant Justice Organizer, where she organizes Korean and Asian Americans to achieve social, economic, and racial justice. Jenny is passionate about advocating for immigrant rights and #Citizenship4All.
