“The Labor Studies minor changed my path. I never thought organizing was something I’d be doing. I wanted to be a history teacher or an immigrants’ rights lawyer. By the end of the program, I realized the real fight for justice was on the streets. I saw in practice the power of workers in their collective action and bargaining. It’s all about worker rights, getting out in the streets and organizing.”
