Silvia is the Communications Specialist for the Dream Resource Center (DRC). Silvia has a background in marketing. She is passionate about using her textual and visual marketing skills to uplift immigrant narratives and labor research. Silvia received a B.A. in English from UCLA with a minor in Labor Studies. While at UCLA, she completed coursework focused on immigrant rights, labor and higher education, law and politics of immigration, and comparative immigration history. Silvia recently contributed to a UCLA Labor Center publication focused on immigrant Temporary Protected Status (TPS) beneficiaries, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, and unaccompanied minors.
